Homework

Monday - Thursday: Read a minimum of twenty minutes. Child records titles on reading record kept in take home folder. Specific reading material is not assigned. Books, magazines, and web pages all count!

Monday: Spelling (Specific assignments will be sent home.)
Tuesdays and Thursdays: Math (Specific assignments will be sent home.)
Additional assignments will be made as needed. Please check your child’s folder on a daily basis.

Makeup Work:

Most of the work we do at school can not be done at home. This is the standard assignment for students who are absent:

1. Read a book, chapter, or magazine article and write a summary with at least three sentences.

2. Play a math game that was previously sent home as homework.

If your child is absent for several days, please contact me for additional assignments.
