Math Game Homework

About once a week (usually on Thursday) math homework will be a game. I suggest that you have your child choose a special place at home to keep their game directions and materials such as number cards and dice. Game materials will need to be reused throughout the school year. Also, some students may need to play the games repeatedly at home to reinforce math skills. On days that games are assigned that do not require the student to complete any type of worksheet a “math game ticket” will be sent home. There will also be days when students will be given a choice of what game they can play for homework. On these days a blank “math game ticket” will be sent home. Please return it to school so that I will know the homework was done. Here’s a pdf file of math game choice tickets for those times math homework gets left at school. (A handwritten note is fine too!)
